Cardwell Foreshore Pathway
Map your trip
The Foreshore Pathway runs along the esplanade of Cardwell, which looks out to beautiful Hinchinbrook Island. The pathway is ideal for walkers, joggers, cyclists, as well as kids on scooters and skateboards.
You can either stop and have a coffee overlooking the Hinchinbrook Channel, at one of the many pagodas fitted with tables and bench seats, or play a quick game of basketball on the waterfront.
There are numerous themed statues including the indigenous Bagu’s and the pylons from the original jetty.
If you have children, you can take advantage of the foreshore playgrounds located at the northern end of the Foreshore Walk.
The Foreshore is a free public area running parallel to the main street in Cardwell.
